Book Review- Bring Me Back

Behind Close Doors was unputdownable book for me so when I saw that B.A.Paris had another book I was very intrigued to read it. Also after a long hiatus of not reading it was the perfect genre for me to get back to reading.

This story is about Finn, Layla and her sister. Finn and Layla are madly in love. On a trip Layla disappears never to be found. After 10 years Finn is getting married to Layla’s sister when the past knocks Finn’s doors.

Suspense is my favorite genre because it keeps you interested to a level that you don't want to come out of the world that it spins you in. There is no doubt that B.A.Paris’s writing is impeccable. The way she keeps you engaged with the characters is impressive. The way the suspense unfolds is engrossing. The climax is something that you have already guessed as a reader but the writing still keeps you interested and that is the beauty of B.A.Paris’ writing. The way the story unfolds is the reason why you should read this.

Behind Closed Doors was the writer’s masterpiece and we humans invariably want to compare the 2 books but that would be unfair to the writer. You can definitely read this one but don't make the mistake of comparing it with Behind closed doors as then you are in for a disappointment. Read it as a standalone narrative and you will definitely enjoy this read.
